PARTYYYYYYYYYY

YES!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! THis sounds like system of a down for some reason (intentional?) I expect this to be used in a flash within the week lol. LOVE IT, gotta go check out your other stuff though

lessthan3 responds:

Cool. We don't know System of a Down that well, but we'll take it as a compliment.

LOOOVEEE IT

when does your cd come out??? and where could I buy it?

OoOohhhhh my

Usually I find stuff to tell the composer to work on in the music . . . but I have no idea what could make this track better, its perfect. The indian sort of sounding start was fuckin cool, followed by some also soloing with a really good riff underneath to keep your foot tappin to! One of my new favorite songs, definatly goin on the next cd I burn

Metalcan responds:

Thanks a lot! I'm happy that you want it on your cd man, that's awesome!

Ooooooooo good stuff

As the revier beneath me said, it would have been better i think if one of the versions was more electric-techno style, so they weren't so simular. You 2 work well with each other thats for damn sure. I like the voices, but at the same time i don't. I think the voices sort of take away from the piece's potential . . . I can't explain it. Lookin forward to hearin ur guys next collab

MilkMan-Dan responds:

gasp the zero pushers found us Maestro!!!... in other news... I agree... perhaps it could have been better... but somethin like this... well not easy... expecially when done over the internet with two different styles and instrument handlings. You see... we are both Classical artists... so we couldn't help but be more... how shall we say... the same?... :P... of course it would be interesting to see what happens if both a classical and a techno artist collab... hmmm... thinks a lil.

Thanks for the review and incouragement :).

Holy shniekys! good!

Me likey. Very good job mon frier. Did you do all the instruments? Or are you in a band? either way it was pretty damn good. My suggestion is to take out the hi cymbal drumming that starts at 20 seconds into the song, and replace it with a different sort of drumming, that way when the cymbols kick in like 40 seconds into the song it will have a better impact.

RyanPridgeon responds:

Good idea, I'll take that into mind.

I did all the instruments btw :)

shiza.

How the hell do you do that? Maybe I'm just an idiot but I don't even know what the whole sweep picking thing is. Gonna go check out that site you said, cuz right now im just confused. Awesome job, real cool and fast with a nice melody (If a little repetative)

myrdok responds:

Well its basically playing arpeggios in one stroke withouth them ringing together (hard to explain) one of the harder techniques of guitar playing. thanks for the review

Gooooooooood

So I listened to all your songs, and decided to review the one I liked best (this one obviously). The reason why I liked this one so much, is that I can imagine at the end of it 2 guitars in harmony just rockin out, like the way that say metallica will start a song out with a slow melodic peace then go to a hardcore metal version of it. The thunder and lightning really add to the dramatic appeal of it, but could have been better defined, as the rain at times sounds just like static. I absolutely love the dark atmosphere that the song sends out. Good Work.

MaestroSorrow responds:

you're absolutely right, the rain does sound like static at times, and this is purely because when you record rain, it more often then not sounds like static, in fact when you look at the waveform of rain and static, the two are quite similar (especially for heavy rain).

I will take your advice and try to put some nice hardcore metal in there, i'm sure it would be cool, or if not, perhaps you and I could collab on it.

^^

thnx for the review.
