hooray metal

i don't think theres anything that I would change in this tune, the whole thing worked out great, perhaps the drums are a bit cymbol heavy during that main riff (the intro) but thats the only critisism i can muster.

thats hilarious

I may be wrong, but isn't it spelt marijhuana? anyways, funny stuff!

cool

It reminded me of the mothman prophacies, the soft unaudible creepy talking playing in the background that is. Very cool song . . . not as dark or sinister as i would have hoped by the name but still cool.

Paladin11286 responds:

Haha I plan on making it more sinister. The sample is from Donnie Darko (great movie by the way).

i was gonna make this song :S

except it was just going to be me screaming "F*CK YOU BILLYRAYCYRUS" I've had him and other reviewers that leave pointless reviews and give me 0's on songs I tried hard on myself, so I feel for yah. As for the actuall song, the riffs are kind of repetative, but not too bad . . . the main problem I had with the song was that I couldn't make out what the computery sounding voice was saying, that part gets lost in the rest of the music and is hard to hear. I like the solo dealy in it

Good stuffs

Great stuff man, I'll have to remember to downlaod this when i get home

Chromatronic responds:

Don't forget.

other reviewers are assholes

The one guy saying your new to guitar . . . newbies would have muchos trouble making this. I think this is something that every guitarist plays around and does and it helps creat strength in you fingers as well as helps your tapping/sliding/hammeronpulloff abilities. However it is not very great to listen to and isn't really a song, rather just practice.

yay

if your going for the hendrix style, i dont think the notes are tied in enough with each other, his stuff is more sort of smooth sounding with some hard gaps between the notes in places for the sake of variety, your soloing just isn't quite smooth enough . . . there are gaps between the differen't notes. But very good melodies are created, that are supported by the rhythems underneath. Also hendrix always has at least one little part where he goes crazy playing virtuoso style then comes back to the melodic stuff, its always fun to throw in one of those. These are just suggestions the song is very good as is and you should be proud of it

jaredpresley responds:

I agree. There's too much reverb on the actual 'soling' parts. Many of them are chordal though. Little Wing was the song that actually inspired me, as with the sus chords he uses.
yeah, I didnt do a all out solo like he does, especially with the wah. I may be thinking about doing that in the future.

yeah man this is really good

I really reallly liked this song, will have to download when i get home (I'm at school right now). I'm not sure either where the last reviewer said the guitar and techno stuff dosen't quite match up . . . it all seems fine to me. Music has a very ambient feel to it at times and then comes back to more of a rock driven atmosphere. Parts of it acutally reminded me of the music that they have in the sonic the hedgehog games for sega genisis, which is a good thing as i love that type of stuff.I can't really think of any suggestions for this song, other than if the guitar was a little more beefy i think it would sound a tad better. Good stuff dude!

AHHH BUUZZZZ!

don't worry, im not listening to the drums in this one, as its just a demo. Is the buzz always like that when your playing guitar, or only when you record it? If the buzz is always there it seems to me you got either an incredibly shitty amp or you got some sort of uhm electrical disturbance. Try moving your guitar and amp into a room with little electronic stuff and play and see if that asshole noise is still there . . . if it isn't try to see what the problem is in whatever room ur recording from and fix it. Try playing this in a lower pitch (thicker string) and see if maybe it sounds better heavier, i think it would.

Great man!

really great improv soloing there, that was one helluva song!
