PITCH HARMONICS!

damn those pitch harmonics sound cool.

One complaint, the guitars about a minute into it sounded a bit too distorted for the nature of the song. I know this sounds weird but it might be cool if there you replaced the fuzzy powerchord stuff with maybe some slow acoustic chords I think it would song cool juxtaposed with the fast electric.
The reason why I say this is when it slows down just before that, it sounds like its going to go softer, which it could with the acoustic but then it could trick us by some soloing overtop

Man, I love your stuff, I'm gonna make it my personal duty to go thru every song of yours (most at least) and review it, so might as well start with the first right? Take all these reviews with a grain of salt, as I may say some stuff that rubs you the wrong way even though I'm just trying to be helpful.

the intro riff to this song is really cool, but I think it gets overplayed. Basically throughout the whole song, you divert from the riff with something, then come back to it right away. With riffs that recognizable I think it would be better to go away from it entirely for a longer time, exploring something different, so that when you come back to it it will make a bigger impact, and make us feel more at home. For example in the song from 1:33 to 1:43, you start to lead us someplace new and cool, but then all of a sudden it stops and the songs over!!

I liked it . . . kinda

The singing reminded me of incubus, whom I have heard way too much in my life and would like to never hear again. This is why even though you did a good job with the song, I would never download it, the singing gets on my nerves (its good though, just a style I don't like). Anyways cool guitar stuff, and a decent drum beat in the back. I think the drums could have been a bit more loose and not so repetative. I also think the guitar at the intro was cool, but it seemed to be lacking something, I would fiddle around with that riff if I was you and try to figure out something just a little better. Keep on rockin in the free world.

Thanks for the review. I mainly submitted this because I'm proud of the guitar stuff, the lyrics are kinda dumb and I sing too forced and not very accurately in-key.
The intro riff is actually a one-string-at-a-time variation of the main riff (which you hear when the drums kick in), so I think it serves fine, but it's an interesting remark. Hope you'll listen to some of my other stuff too.

lol I liked it. It's actually kind of a catchy little tune . . . it reminds me of that song "cuz this is my uniitted states of whatevahHH!" The singings just below par, I'm guessing your about 13 or so from whoevers singing (if your not I'm sorry). Anyways the main reason why I'm reviewing this is to tell you to go to the audio forum and post your songs under the audio advertisements thread as well as the audio reviews thread, that way youll get more than 5 downloads per song

I'm not what you would call an expert in classical style (although I am taking a classical music class in university lol) but here are my suggestions: when you have the cymbol crashes in the song, make them louder (or everything else quieter I guess) to have a greater impact. Also I think their should be a greater climax to the song . . . as it sounds like its really starting to lead somewhere fantastic, but then just sorta dies out. I think it would be cool if after the faster drum part about half-way thru if instead of going into the main theme it went into more of a climactic thing
don't take this too seriously, for I know nothing. good job!

I liked it! And thats saying a lot, as I'm not a techno kinda guy, but the way the words came in and out and would suddenly stop and stuff made it really rad. Good job!

Cool

This had a lot of stuff goin on in the background, technoy stuff but it mended well enough with the guitar that it was a good adition I think. I love it when about a minute into the song, 2 guitars in harmony kick in . . . thats the best sound in the world. Also the main theme was pretty cool and had me bobbin my head. Around 2 minutes into the song there's some real cool fast picking that I liked. I thought the song maybe went on too long, because at the end things start getting a little too repetative and would have liked to see another new riff thrown in there (but I have ADD so maybe thats just me) It was a really good song good luck with the competition
